Okay, we're all coin folks around here. I know you've got your favorite coin that you just love to pocket carry, right there next to your keys, money clip, and pocket knife.

Be they US, World, Ancient, Modern, Token, Coin, Exonumia, or Bullion, post up your 'pocket piece(s)' for all to see.

    Here are mine, back to back years . . . . . . show us yours . . . . .

    What's your 'daily carry?'

So this is my carry coin, an Australian 'Holey dollar'.
carry coin.png It usually comes with a 'dump' coin that'll fit inside the hole but this coin was sold without it so I got it for just the spot price and thought why not make it a carry piece!

It is a modern reproduction of Australia's 'first coin', a punched out 8 reales!

I got one of those from you. PCGS graded it MS66. It has since gone on to someone else (@Stork, if I remember correctly), but I enjoyed having it and did not regret spending the slab fees on it despite its relatively modest value. They're cool coins.

Unsurprisingly, that one I slabbed remains the sole certified example as of this post, and thus can claim to be "finest known", though the ones you have might be of equal quality.

1971 two headed Kennedy half dollar magic coin found coin roll hunting. I don't know any tricks though, just carry it and play with it when I'm bored.

It's all I do with it, flip it or roll it on my fingers when waiting around. Figure if it gets worn down it don't matter. Some day maybe I'll figure out some slight of hand tricks like make it disappear and reappear or pull it out of an ear. Lol

I actually carry it in my wallet. Does that still count as a pocket piece ?

Only if you keep your wallet in your pocket, if you carry the wallet in a purse, it doesn't qualify as a pocket piece anymore. the prison wallet is acceptable though since it's pocket stored....:jawdrop:

    Here 'tis, 1967.
It was the last year they were struck for circulation.

I started carrying it in the mid-1980's.
    MS at the time.
I used it as a marker for my turn on the pool table at the bar.

If your wallet is in your pocket, YES. Otherwise it might be a murse (man purse).

Do you keep them tucked in a watch pocket? My peace dollar started out toned almost black, after a couple weeks rattling around in my pocket the tarnish was almost gone.

Would that then, technically, be considered pocket polished? Is there an established term?

    That sir, is TOOO COOOL . . . . .

Yes, in a small 'coin pocket' in my jeans.

The Peace Dollar actually started out looking more like below . . . . .

It had some funkus on Liberty's face that you can see remnants of, what appears to be corrosion on her face. Pocket carry has helped to remove much of it over the past couple of months . . . . .

Giving it an acetone bath didn't help at all.
