It's all still going up so be patient and hold for now. The higher the silver spot price the more you'll get when selling them.
Well Randy, sometimes the journey (read: anticipation) is more fun/eventful than the destination. For example, our recent 10 day "vacation" in Port Aransas...between the hurricane & with the beaches essentially closed (Covid), it was a great disappointment. (However, we had a great fishing haul in the Gulf, just after the storm; incl. 75 lbs of Red Snapper on the last day of the season!!!). The pool was perfect, we found a great new taco place, and, we got to stop at Buc-ee's both coming & going... I think you got good "value" overall...& you come out with a good story. (Be sure your son knows he owes you one! )
That's a good story and I do keep things in perspective. And this was just a fun diversion...... When I was building my old car years ago, I wanted it period correct so I installed an 8-track tape deck. My son was working at a thrift store at the time and I had him on the lookout for 8-track tapes. One Saturday he called me very excited... "Dad, I found you two tapes!!! Bob Marley and the Walkers and Gary Puckett and the Onion Gap"..... I still get tickled when I think about that phone call.
Couldn't ask for a more appetizing after supper desert huh. I'm excited for you can't wait to hear what you got for your investment good luck...
That's the daily market. Look at what's driving it, world events, production, supply and demand, etc.
but if the big uglies want to crush the prices they sure can do it quickly. Gold dropped over 100 bucks that one day and silver was down 4 so after waiting nearly 10 years for silver to be this high its always tempting to sell some now and lock in some gains. Maybe not all but selling some is prudent IMHO
Since I started this thread, this friend of my son has brought two more bags of silver asking if I wanted to purchase them for 10X face value. I am starting to get a bad feeling about this.
Look what you've started. But you gotta admit, you can't buy junk silver for that price and you can sell it at a higher price.
