Where do you get your price of gold and silver quotes from? Which link have you found to be the most informative? JM Bullion is getting old, post your links please?

Goldprice.org on a desktop browser gives you side-by-side charts for gold and silver. I'm not sure of their data source, though; sometimes their figures don't agree with Kitco and others.

And, of course, coinflation.com shows silver values for common silver coins, as well as base-metal "values" for non-PM coins (not useful because coin alloys trade at a discount from pure nickel, copper, and zinc). There's also a linked page for gold coin values, although it's limited to US denominations and a small selection of popular foreign coins (sovereigns and francs).

    I normally go to Kitco:

I also use coinflation as Jeff calls out above. They have the nifty calculator where you can put in the quantity of junk silver coins and it spits you out the melt value.

Kitco when I just want a quick look at the charts. Coinflation when I am about to strike a deal on something. I’m too tired to do the arithmetic anymore and am happy that Coinflation does it for me.

Yahoo Finance, so I can also check the markets and see where the stock and bond markets are at.
