Has anyone tried communicating with Naville in London? I've emailed them three times in the last three weeks or so. Twice I replied to an earlier email they had sent me, another time I filled out their online "contact us" form. They sent me the wrong coin — a coin I didn't purchase, but not the more expensive coin I did purchase. I even sent them a photo as evidence.

The only address I can find for them is the generic info@navillenumismatics.com. Maybe someone knows how to contact a specific person there? Apparently whoever maintains the "info" email account is AWOL.

Carausius Brother, can you spare a sestertius?

Maybe summer holiday schedules interfering with response time. I would not worry about them making it right somehow. They are reliable.

Seems that the pandemic and related closures and delays resulted in quite a bit of confusion at the auction houses. I had one coin "misplaced" too (by a different business). Unpleasant, but understandable.

This may be so, but even small-time dealers on VCoins indicate dates when they're away, and even individuals set auto-reply messages if they're out of the office.

If it were me, I would be calling them on the phone number above, and if there was nothing resolved within the week I would be investigating reversing the charges.
