    The reverse is MD. Flat, shelflike, with reduction in the devices. It’s hard to tell on the mint mark, it appears to be circulation wear instead of a RPM.

    MD on just a few letter--?I thought MD involve all the letters??just asking?And if you look at other 1964 d --The d is skinny

    MD on the reverse but the mintmark looks like the top of it took a small hit.

    Almost 3.8 billion coins were struck. Have you compared your coin to all others?

    MD can pop up in any point of a given coin. Even a single letter can be machine doubled without a sign of it anywhere else on the coin!

    MD and the MM took a hit, IMHO.
