I usually shop with IJ Bullion (ijbullion.com)
They definitely have the lowest prices and also quite good quality!
the shipping is maybe a little bit slow (7-10 days) But I cant complain I have used many other including APMEX which I do NOT recommend because of bad quality.
    Thanks.

I totally disagree with you about APMEX. And I don’t intend to argue with someone who joined the site to tout a dealer no one ever heard of. So don’t waste your time.

Yes, please ignore any member whose only post is to recommend a bullion site no one has ever heard of. It is most likely veiled advertising. Let's see if the member becomes an active poster. If not, report the post.

really?...I came across it a few months ago.
I am not trying to advertise for them I just had a pretty good experience.
The reason I didn't recommend APMEX is because when I ordered there They sent the coin over 10 days late! And It definitely wasn't in the condition they showed. But that was the first time I ordered there and I am sure that other people would highly recommend it. But my first order was not a good experience so I no longer shop with APMEX.

    Fair enough.

So what is so great about this other site?

    I usually use them to buy silver and coin rolls. So I can speak on behalf of those products. But They have some of the lowest prices for example their mercury dime roll is: $87.99 which I cant find cheaper on any other sites. The quality is quite good too. The only downside is slower shipping but it pays off since shipping is just $2.99...I think. I tend to like smaller and not as well known coin dealers since they sometimes have the best prices and service. Some other coin dealers I like are;
    GoldSilverBull.com
    CoinTown.com
    Silver.com
But I mainly shop with IJ Bullion because I want to support the small business.

APMEX : no good for clean appearing coins

Bought some silver Franklins and Kennedys from APMEX to offset my dwindeling supply; mostly gotten out of circulation. The Apmex coins were horrible. For whatever reason they put their silver halves thru an automated counting machine, of maybe countless counting machines possibly designed for use on the later nickel clad coinage. Anyhow the coins, particularly the Franklins, were all scratched up from the machines. They were nothing like the coins I'd gotten from circulation and even the few coins I bought from live dealers at shows (at bullion prices).

I think they advertized VF, but really 17 of 20 coins in each roll were essentially "cull grade". These could not possibly be sold anywhere else except as scrap. I wrote them advising that I wanted to return the coins but they wrote back saying "non-returnable". If you'll look you'll find APMEX has a lot of complaints online for customer service, or lack thereof.

Because I've been working PT and No-Time (virus), haven't done much buying lately.

But I have used MCM and APMEX in the past for silver and gold.

I like buying the secondary market stuff. sometimes you get something in the mail that looks pretty cool and old.
