If others were as narcissistic and petty as goldcollector, they would constantly tell him that when he made his platinum announcement last June, he could have purchased 1 oz. of Palladium or 1.8-1.9 oz of Platinum and now that 1 oz of Palladium is worth 3 oz of Platinum and that ratio has been going up in a straight line for a long time.... They could make a post every day to rub it in his face and make themselves feel smart by belittling him and other people who bought Platinum instead of Palladium for the last 5 years..........

Yes you're right. I would have done better with Gold, palladium or Bitcoin. The only thing that has performed worse than platinum is silver.

The day I started the thread platinum closed at $803. It's down about 7%. Actually not too bad considering what's going on. Silver is down 23% since that day. For what it's worth, my platinum was up 30% to about $1040 before current conditions hit. I have every reason to believe once this passes it will get back there. I'm continuing to buy right now paying $825-$850. Just got 3 more APE from jmbullion at $830 each.

I wouldn't jum in palladium back then it was about $1700, just too much risk. But yes it kept going up. I never see any online dealers that even have palladium in stock so I couldn't have bought anyway.

 

Getting close to $900. Could sell the APEs for over $900 right now.

 

Yes NLL I'm starting to love my investment again. Spent the last 2 months reeling in Platinum anywhere from $750-$850. This temporary drop in Platinum and silver turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Oh wait ---- silvidiots paid double spot to ensure they would never get even. Lol. Well anyways, I have 67 APES in my safe deposit box with a DCA well below current spot. I'm holding on for $1200 though

 

The ratio is about the same. I cant buy palladium either way. Never see any online or at LCS and I'm sure huge premium if I ever found any. I can't really stomach huge premiums. Just the same I don't know a single site that has any palladium at all so it was really never an option.
