I'm having some trouble telling whether you're being sarcastic or not.

"Not even 4%" would be twice as bad as initial estimates, and over 40 times as bad as the seasonal flu that kills tens or hundreds of thousands each year.

We have to assume that this ratio is somewhat inflated -- that there are a lot of unreported cases, and that only the ones that are more severe get reported and tracked. But "there are a lot of unreported cases" isn't exactly reassuring from an epidemiological point of view.

As long as we are assuming, we can just as easily assume that people get it and get over it with little effect or theatrical shows.

And no I wasn't being sarcastic. 4%, so what?

Some people are lazy, irrational idiots.

If you can't see based on the mortality rate of Covid19 that this is worse than the seasonal flu, you are stupid.

If you can't be bothered to google "pandemic" or read the CDC and WHO websites to learn what a pandemic is and how it is different than the seasonal flu, you are lazy.

If you learn the fact that Covid19 has a much higher mortality rate than the seasonal flu and that Covid19 is a pandemic because it is spreading over a wide area, spreading quickly, and is not something we have prior preparedness for, and that this does not concern you, you are irrational.

It upsets me how many irrational, lazy idiots exist in this world.

It really upsets me when people acting like god-men fail to end their episodes with:
"So let it be written so let it be done." It's lazy.

I also feel cheated that some people are not blocking me.

Your reply to my post falls along the lines of "whoever smelt it, dealt it."

Warning! What is wrong with you members? Some seem to purposely make statements to rile. If you want to engage in such argumentation at such a level , that a possible 4% death rate in the US or world is nothing, go to Partisanlines.com where others of like mind post. We mean this! Jim

Low prices do inspire buying, but extremely low prices displays value of the item that minimize its attractiveness. If Silver drops to $5 an ounce would you buy it? Then how would you feel after you made your large purchase when Silver drops to $3.50 an ounce? Would you buy more? And finally it drops to $2 an ounce. At some point in time you begin to regret that $5 an ounce purchase.

Inhumanity over quoting statistics freely available and the common economic principal that the younger generation, just starting out, are bigger drivers of economic expansion, are examples of my inhumanity?

You do not know me sir, nor my family nor habits. I was simply making well documented points. I am sorry you took them the wrong way.

Too many people with their heads in the sand. They think if they ignore it it will just go away.

To be fair, there have been a number of rather high-profile voices saying that if we ignore it, if everyone just goes about their lives normally, everything will be fine.

Now that most saying that have changed their tune, some are having a hard time re-establishing their footing.
