When I looked at the pictures I posted on this thread the coin looked like it was a counterfeit cast

Please do! I'd love to see what you got, this guy I got mine from had a few but if I could find one for $95 even in this condition I'd be much happier. I did see them online after I made this thread graded by I believe ngc at ms 69 for just a few dollars more than I paid...

I will this shop had several 1992 1/20 oz for same price. I think the 1999 is the better date but they looked good, well i think they were good these eyes are getting too old to look at the details on 1/20 oz coin theyre on the small side.

They are small, and my eyes are bad too, my glasses have thicker lenses than a camera.

It would be hard to hurt this thing, should I cut it in half?? Just so we can be sure it's gold lol.

We all were at some point -- some of us still are. :D

Better to learn on a fractional than on a full-ouncer. Make sure you are buying from a respectable dealer or LCS.

If not sure, then buy from a good online source...a good CT dealer...or a slabbed coin.

This guys shop is about four blocks from my house, I can't say he is reputable. But he's close enough for me to get what I actually paid for! Even if I have to go to court so be it

Well it has got to be gold unless it's lead, it's maluble like gold and I really only care about the metal content right now. As I grow my collection I will seek out higher grades. But I got to start somewhere. 15806278919221162647483548777872.jpg 15806279519508322215074272670390.jpg 15806279923296905683948761749608.jpg
