1969 D penny LIBERTY spelled LIBERYY

    Has anyone ever seen this before? Is it worth anything?

    Yes, they do show up from time to time. It is a cool anomaly to look at. Thing is it is not a mint error. It is caused by something hitting the cent at a perfect angle to create the deformation of the "T". Copper is a very soft metal.
