TRYING TO "Play the GSR" -- HORRIBLE IDEA

Dude silver is pretty much exactly where it was 10 years ago today, give or take a few cents. Gold is up $450 or so in the same time. Silver is always the one getting hyped and it never does a thing. I said the same thing 10 years ago. I said silver would never do much. They attacked, called me a troll, guaranteed me it would outperform gold, was gonna be extinct, lol, etc. Where are they now ??? You are all newbies pretty much except Jeff. Ten years from now silver will be whatever it is $16, $18, $20, $22, whatever it won't do much. I will be saying the same thing and I will be called a troll by all new posters all over again. I'm wondering why a guy can open an April Fool's Day joke about bitcoin and not be a troll ( he would be a multi-millionaire if he had actually done what he was joking about by the way).

Anyway you can be anti gold or anti Bitcoin or anything that's fine. But if ur anti silver ur a "troll" a troll who by the way has been 100% right. I was also a troll when I said GSR wasn't going back to 16.

When I posted no way silver would be extinct by 12-31-19 I was a troll.

When I said the COMEX wouldn't default I was a troll.

When I opened a GSR thread at GSR 68 saying it wasn't going down to 55 I was a troll.

I can't wait until 12-31-29 when silver is $20.45 or $15.45 or whatever so I can laugh at all the silver hypers who no doubt will have sign up dates in 2028 or 2029. Possibly good people but just not enough time around the silver game to realize that it is a massively overproduced, overhyped con game.

I sense someone who doesn't care much for facts. Perhaps ur related to Jeff haha jk. The absolute lowest silver price ever closed was $3.55 one day in 1991. It still would have cost you $5.50 probably $6 for an ASE. So you have tripled ur money in 28 years. That's if you bought it at the absolute lowest close of the decade.

You talk about late 90s it never closed lower than 5.50 so ur paying $8. So you have a little more than doubled you money in 20-23 years.

That's hardly making "big on it". And that's hardly something to be jealous about seeing as how it's pretty much the worst return of any investment on Earth during that same time frame. But hey again who cares about facts.

I'm not jealous of Bitcoin which made multi millionaires and made me nothing but I'm jealous of silver.

I guess when I say baseball cards are a stupid investment I'm just jealous.

No, if you're a troll, you're a troll. It doesn't especially matter whether you're trolling with a one-note song about silver, or about gold, or about Bitcoin, or about an endless succession of damaged cent "errors".

Nooooooooooo, you're a troll, and a sleazy one at that, when you steal money from people and don't make things right, acknowledge your screw up, and continue to post on the very forum your 'mark' (@Garlicus ) is from.

The New Year is upon us. It’s a good time to make amends to those you’ve harmed, as well as get your life in order. You have any clue to what I’m talking about?

ASE's are one of the worst ways to buy bullion, why not use bars or rounds or ingots as examples. American Silver Eagles always sell at higher premiums, they're practically collectible coins.

This statement depends on current sales of silver. Some people sold shortly after the spike when it firmly held prices over $30 for a little while in the early 2010's.

I know someone who bought silver around $4.80 in 2003 and sold it in 2012. More than a seven times return. Of course not everyone's silver experiences are the same. I also know somebody who bought it in 2012, those guys are losing money. But PM's should never be a short term investment. To say that we'd never see 2012 prices again is a bold prediction.

I agree actually that baseball cards suck. :p

Dire international events have always tended to spike gold prices. So, if you're the sort of ghoul who cheers on those events, congratulations, I guess.

Send @Garlicus his silver, or refund his money.

BTW, just checked, and the GSR hasn't touched 87 since it descended through that mark in mid-December. Current value around 85.5.

Not to imply that the gold-silver ratio signifies anything significant; just to remind everyone where goldcollector pulls his facts from, and not to handle them without good disposable gloves.

Yeah Jeff it always been rounded off. I don't post GSR is 86.234556545.
Would you like that better ?
85-86-87 doesn't change the point that the thread was started at 69 and it's up about 25% when the silver crowd said it would surely drop. Silver crowd 100% wrong like always.

I'm sure the GSR will go up and down but you and I will never ever ever see GSR 69 ever again in our lives.

By the way I just checked Kitco and it's showing GSR 86.75. So as usual you have no idea what ur talking about.

    Funny, so did I:

So how is it that you can make posts here in minutes, but your quotes from Kitco and the like are many hours old -- and your response to @Garlicus sending you payment is over two years delayed?

Jeff I understand your anger. You have been Loitering in my thread here just hoping I would be wrong so you could claim you loaded up on silver again. Instead the GSR has done nothing but go up. (Oops sorry after exploding 35% from the start of the thread, it has made a small correction. A correction I posted in this thread that I expected even before it happened. A correction that got no where close back to the starting point of 69). So again Jeff you were wrong. You really should be used to it by now. No reason to be so angry.

Speaking of loitering in threads, shouldn't you be taking @Garlicus' package to the post office instead?

I know Jeff won't be honest and point it out but I actually said I expected a correction back to around 80 before it happened. I think it fell to 78.5 or 79 but I'm sure that's not exactly where it fell.

It just after years of being 100% wrong hyping silver Jeff has taken a new road. After stocks shoot up, Jeff bought stocks. After Gold shot up from about $1280 to $1600 or so Jeff posted that he was thinking about selling some of his never before mentioned Gold. Jeff it's a little tougher for me, I actually take my positions BEFOREHAND
And yet I have still been 100% right about silver.

For anyone just joining our discussion, goldcollector has decided his best approach is to try putting words in my mouth again. My posting history here is open to everyone. Take a look back through it, and you'll see that goldcollector's summary of my positions is just about as reliable as his specific statements about the gold-silver ratio over the last few years.

Or, for that matter, his promise to deliver silver in exchange for payment.

Jeff you can tell them anything you want, they are newbies. I have been here longer. You hyped silver right up there with the best of them or should I say worst of them.

Then just a few months ago right after Gold made a nice run up, you all of a sudden had Gold you were thinking about selling. Good thing because it's been kicking silvers behind for years.
