Looks a tad over dipped to me.....how about a shot of the posterior? I mean, reverse.

Dipped or cleaned, it's not natural.

Quite frankly, by your photogs, I don't know how they could have assigned this coin an mint state grade. There is a total lack of luster.

A couple of comments.. Is this your coin? Your pictures? Sellers pictures? Could the picture be washed out. It does look over dipped but is it market acceptable for this type coin and date? I'm just asking.

No this is not my coin and it is the seller's pictures.

I think that has been re submitted till it got straight graded.
It's been cleaned and stripped of any luster.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was cleaned. I sent two ICG straight graded Trade Dollars first to NGC then to PCGS. Both times they came back 'Details - Cleaned'.

Do you see any wear? If there’s wear then it shouldn’t grade MS/UNC. If not, then it is MS/UNC. Why do think ICG graded it 61? I can’t see a large number of hits and marks, so it seems to be a net grade. Does this make sense?

That coin has been treated and I'm sure resubmitted to tpgs a number of times. The owner finally sent it to a bargain basement TPG and they straight graded it. I'd avoid at all costs as it doesn't look that good to be. No luster at all.

If you like the coin at the price, buy it.
The coin is the coin ... is the coin ... is ...
And 'grade' is just somebody's OPINION
    of the coin.

It appears to be dipped, but not abrasively cleaned. The skin isn't completely original, but the metal itself isn't damaged by wiping or scrubbing. I'd probably buy it, but at a discount compared to an example with original mint luster. If it had evidence of abrasive cleaning i wouldn't buy it at all.
