1. Buy online from dealers/your local coin shop 2. Try ebay to get deals 3. Gain ebay bucks on miscategorized bullion. Use ebay bucks to get bullion for "free" 4. Coin roll hunt for face value bullion 5. Metal detect, coinstar hunt 6. Thrifting for cheap sterling Do you have other creative ways to buy bullion?
I'd say finding ways to pay less than spot + typical premium is creative. Do you have additional ways to do so?
I'd try panning for gold, although more for the fun of it than out of the belief that I'd actually find anything. Unrelated to silver & gold, I recall two guys going to a power substation at a vacant industrial building in Massachusetts over 10 years ago, and being electrocuted when they tried to steal the copper.
Wow, the lack of creativity is mind boggling. Just be one of my grandchildren and you're accumulating from the day you're born!* *no offense to anyone. This is intended to be a lighthearted post.
You could stand in front of a pawn shop with a cardboard sign that says you buy gold coins but you would be chased away within a few minutes, maybe even hurt! j/k The only way I can think of is to find a way to buy wholesale, in short, I have no creative ideas.
Buy in with $40 at the local casino, play blackjack and when your up $20 cash out. Spend the $20 on a 1 ounce bar on the way home. YMMV
How do you do that? Can you explain? What is "miscategorized bullion" and what does it have to do with eBay bucks?
Do you really go metal detecting the beach at Coney Island? How long did it take you to find all that stuff?
Not just Coney Island. Most NYC beaches and parks that permit detecting. 9 years now. Some silver rings in this case I filled up.
I extract it from people's teeth when they walk past. Not very many people walk past me anymore though ... And they tend to complain for some reason. :O
