I need help with the PCGS forum

    I have tried repeatedly to get a new password, and they will not send me an email. At the this point I guess I'm locked out. If anyone can help me, please send my a personal message, and I will give you my user name over there.

    If I have been banned, I don't know why. I can't communicate with the site when I don't have a workable ID.

    Same problem here. Mark is emailing everyone who has sent either him or Heather an email about the problem. He will have to set each manually, so it will take some time.

    It's frustrating, but have patience.

    Could you try creating a new profile with a different email address? Just a thought, maybe it's your email address.

    I can't send anybody an email. I tried calling the 1-800 number, I sat on hold for five minutes and was told it would be 16 minutes more. They just don't seem to care any more.

    What is Heather's email address? Please send me a PM if you know it.

    Another email address is not an option unless I use my wife's account when is on the same account. They will just block that and put me on the banned list for applying twice.

    Yeah, I just tried to log in, same problem I couldn't log in. I don't know what's going on as I don't go on there much. good luck! :D

    This may help, it was posted yesterday by Heather Boyd:

    Our forum provider has reset all passwords due to a recently introduced bug in their software (now resolved) that had the potential to leak encrypted user passwords. The details are available here: https://status.vanillaforums.com/incidents/2zdqxf3bt7mj.

    According to the vendor this is a precautionary measure only.

    I just requested my password change and it took maybe 2 minutes from request to logging in with my new password...

    Use the mharvey@collectors.com email address. Heather has forwarded all email to him. I'm still waiting for an email from him as well.

    I sent the message to mharvey an hour ago. I still have nothing.

    No luck. I emailed "MHarvey" four and half hours ago and have received nothing. I guess I've been banned for doing nothing.

    Mark got back to me late this afternoon with a link that got me up and running. If he’s having to do that with most of the members, I suspect he’s real busy. I emailed him yesterday.

    Could the reset email have been going to a spam folder?
