I thought that must have been a typo, but no! That's definitely the first depiction of butter I've seen on a coin!

Here are a few small Greek bronzes. These are resting on the paper insert for a 2x2 coin flip. The paper is 1.75 inches square: The upper right coin has since succumbed to bronze disease. :-( It was infected deep within the coin and no amount of soaking could save it. The others are all fine, I just looked at them today. The coins were photographed resting on a standard matchbox. John
