If the mintage really is limited to 30K, I think this one will stay elevated. That's the new low, lower than the 1995-W. (I imagine the 1995-W will still remain the biggest key, though, just because not all of them will be pried away from the rest of their gold-and-silver set.)

Pinehurst is offering $150 plus cost of coin. That's a sweeter pot. I have submissions I'm getting ready for PCGS, NGC and ANACS. My order is confirmed. What would you folks do?
- sell to Pinehurst?
- submit to PCGS?
- submit to NGC?
- submit to ANACS?

Got thru the final payment of item in bag, and item not available popped up. How could that happen? Got in at noon....what a rip!

 

It was a frustrating ten minutes of refreshing, continuing, refreshing ad infinitum, MANY attempts to pay and several to confirm. But in the end I have one coming. Still waiting for opinions as to what I should do with it. The one option I didn't put in my previous post is "Keep it."

Same here Steve, refresh then checkout pops up and continue refresh after four or five attempts it finally went through.

Soooo, did anybody who purchased today's offering take advantage of the Monument Metals $100 quick sale to them?

 

At 2:55 p.m. yesterday I was torn between taking Pinehurst's $150 or keeping it. Decided that a firm like that isn't going to take a humongous risk, and if they can make some money after paying that so can I. As soon as I get it I'm sending to NGC and will flip it.

It's about time I made a little on coins, God knows I've bought high and sold low enough times.

I have bought from them before...they try to call, but not too bad.

 

I called today and they are already sold out. They did ask if I was a new customer when I initially called. They said they would call me when the next deal pops up. Will share when I get the call.

 

Sorry that you missed out. I hope that they do call you back with a good deal. Maybe when they get some Type 2s.

Yeah, I reported this (left a VM) to the local Secret Service office this morning. I also sent a message to Facebook (like that will do any good), since they are getting paid to run the ad.
