The good deals have all disappeared. You can see prices are now the same across both websites. $1 face of junk silver has now skyrocketed on provident. It's a very disappointing acquisition. One of my favorite online sites now no longer exists.

You were notified of this by email if you receive Provident Metals emails.

For those who don't, here is more information.

Used to be one of my favorite sites (Provident). No more. I had ordered a 30g Gold Panda right before the announcement. Waited for their processing time and had a ship date. Ship date came and went without notice. I called Provident & they said it would "ship tomorrow." This was like the day after the merge announcement. "Tomorrow" came and went. No shipping notice. Waited another day. Received an email that payment hadn't been received yet and cancellation of the order along with their market loss penalties were pending. So I called Provident to verify. They said the payment had cleared back on the original "cleared" date (at this point 5 or 6 days prior) and that they were working with 2 different computer databases that weren't talking to each other. I was put on hold for a "supervisor" who apologized and said the coin would ship, you guessed it, "tomorrow." This wouldn't even be a good story if the coin really shipped. No notice. Waited an extra day and called Provident again. This time I told them it was time to cancel the order. Again they apologized and assured me it would ship the next day. The next day, no shipping notice. So I figured I'd wait another day. Mainly because I wanted to call after I had some cool-down time. So the day after THAT, right before I picked up the phone, the mail was delivered. Guess what was actually in the mail...

If that is confusing to you, try dealing with it in person.

    Nice coin though :)

If they have higher prices and you don't buy from them they will be forced to lower their prices.

Completely agree. Provident was my go to online site for 90% and they often made the deals sweeter with a $5 coupon. Hopefully some other dealers will have some good Black Friday deals this year.
