I have sold a number of PCGS MS 69 Libertads for $45 at shows from my table especially if they have flag label. Also some from my online store.

These are beautiful high demand coins in this market. One of my favorite things spend eBay bucs on.

Slabbed 69 low pop coins these easily trading at that. Savvy investors who know value getting on board. 70’s bringing $75 on the bourse.

I thought savvy investors were snapping up Beanie Babies...

But the question remains, why should i spend 4 or 5 times the price for a 69
Or 70, when i can get gem/unc from the mint, especially if these populations
Are low, i would have to ask how low ? 10 or 20 just maybe however if your
Talking hundreds or even thousands or beyond, not worth it , the only possible
Exception would be a limited presentation piece but were not talking about that
    Here.

And i would like to add Mexican libertads are hardly the coins for
Serious investors, as allot of dealers when you go to sell would
Probably offer a discount ( offer you less ) your more inclined to
    Stick with ASE,S

Hardly the coin for serious investors...?

Serious investors buy bars and unopened monster boxes.

The libertads are my favorite silver/gold coin, also a fan of the 20 and 50 pesos.

I have no problem selling slabbed 69 pieces in the $45-$50 range online and shows and 70 pieces at $75. These are high demand popular material. The 70 coins very low pop vs generic MS 65 Morgan Dollars priced much higher. The market is catching on to this.

This is chump change compared to sellers marking up big ticket CAC coins 50-75 pct higher vs non cac. I have sold raw Mexico silver onzas in $28-$35 range lately.

why so expensive? they'd be better off buying 1/10 eagles even with the premiums

Paying those kinds of premiums is "NUTS" especially on Libertads
Which arent even close to ASE,S or Maples...Just saying

How are they not close..?...it’s a subjective opinion.

They are more collectible in my opinion because in silver they make different size silver fractionals each year, so there is more to collect and the mintage is way smaller so graded coins are actually hard to find with several MS70 coins with populations of under 20...I rank them as the second best modern gold coin to collect..Pandas would be #1

Every single online dealer has more of a premium on them, please explain the higher premium

Absolutely right! :cigar: The 2019 Mexican Gold Libertads are going for crazy money, a 1/10th will cost right around $185. Definitely crazy money, especially in the area of liquidating when the time comes! :spitoutdummy: I learned a valuable lesson once, never again! :D

Just like with Pandas the only way to get your money back it to sell to another collector, no one is claiming otherwise.

If liquidating your collection is something you see in the future, modern fractional bullion isn’t for you, many of us plan on dying before we ever need to sell.

Again, please explain why there is a premium...?

Right this very second i can get a 1 OZ gem uncirculated Libertad for $22.12
And your asking me to pay double for a 69 ? these are bullion coins people
If you want to pay double for virtually the same thing be my guest, but
    Not happening on my watch...LOL

    Mr Roots Underneath The Bridge

I’m guessing that is from Apmex and it’s 22.12 if you buy 450 of them....They also don’t have any graded 2019 in stock right now.

But the question is....raw or graded why is there a bigger premium on them if they are so inferior to ASE’s..?
