Many of us are retired, some of us may even be alcoholic but I can assure you of one thing! :D All of us are more successful than you will ever be as you have no finesse, no manners, no credibility and you are extremely uncouth! :D
Not only that, you're trying to get somebody to leave you a link, now that's pathetic! laughhard.gif You're not worth leaving a link for, and mostly all of your posts show your mental health issues! :phantom: btw, The medications you were told to take by the doctor, please do yourself a favor and start taking them! tmoney.gif

Fun thread. Now we have to have “credentials” and post links to boring one sided market analysts to be considered worthy of posting. OK... I dropped out of high school to serve my country. Spent the last 35 years building a solid business. Don’t have a degree to my name nor do I care to read analysts projections. I been buying gold since the 1990’s because I like having gold. Boy that’s poignant. At current spot levels were I to sell I would easily more than double my investment..... So what’s all that matter, really? And how does that pertain to the OP’s initial inquiry? Not one bit. We are all on this ride for our own reasons. Let’s keep it on topic and withhold our “opinions” of old, young, retired, educated or whatever the case may be. Makes CT a lot more fun and informative.

FWIW...my credentials: graduate of a top-notch liberal arts college...spent 30+ years working as an economist, analyst, investment advisor, and portfolio manager. Have managed $$$ for middle-class folks and some of the wealthiest people on the Forbes 400. I have both a CFA and CFP. Currently work PT and manage a few F&F accounts.

On the negative side, I root for the Mets, Jets, Knicks, and Rangers. On the positive side, I can clearly remember the Mets (1986) and Rangers (1994) last championships, but the Jets (1969) and Knicks (1973) are starting to get fuzzy.:D

The fact that the person didn't see ANY value in the posts and lacked the rigoruous financial mind to ascertain relevant and irrelevant text within them showed me he was involved above his pay grade.

I didn't worry it none and simply ignored the bulk of his prose. :D

Jay a friend in Cali w lots money accumulating gold and silver. Many (entrenched well off establishment) preparing (quietly) for bad times crash when impacts from global warming hit fan - heading for hills buying secluded nice place.

When it does hit the fire economy will crash layoffs will accelerate many will being free of them (establishment) will realize not that bad of thing. Just find a good angle works for you. Jay says “run up cc debt to hilt then default shortly before crash.”

And California will fall into the ocean in 1995. The world will end in 2011 because the Mayan calendar says so. The civilized world will fall into chaos January 1, 2000 because the computers don't know how to figure it out....... We been on the edge of calamity since recorded time. I wouldn't pay too much attention to your friend from California.

I would add the world will freeze (heat up, do both, take your pick), in 15 years from now. Its always 15 years from now, close enough to scare the heck out of you, far enough away the author will not be called to the carpet on his error when we realize it was BS. Cover of Time magazine 1970, "The Coming Age Ice", article reads by 1985 much of the world will be uninhabitable, massive food riots and starvation worldwide, etc. Check the date the next time you read an apocalypse story, its always about 15 years away.....

“Rub up cc debt to hilt then default,” it’s deadbeats like this that don’t pay their debts that have turned this country into a zoo.
