Hey whats wrong with stackers. They work hard for their goods. Hey a many of poor mans way of getting ahead. I see nothing wrong with edge checkers. As long as it brings them joy. I'm glad for them.

God. I'd hate to be the next one in line at the checkout. You couldn't decide to use cash or credit card

I still like gold as almost 5% of my assets. I think the quick trading of bitcoin is hurting the demand for gold.

For the record, I think bitcoin is a terrible alternative to an actual gold coin. Bitcoin is backed by the trust and security of electrons traveling in the internet.

    I prever holding a pre-1933 gold coin.

Several computer articles feel when the quantum computer processor chip gets to 100 qubits, it can break the block chain encryption of bitcoin. Right now is at 72 qubits.
    I hold none. Jim.

The quantum computer is very short of 72 qubits. I think that bitcoins are not real. They will be traded as long as people trust it.

People also trusted Bernie Madoff. Good luck.

What's all this talk about PM's in the PM room--how about that dow--down 500+ points. Chinese and German economic activity down. Golly, who could have seen that one coming.

I will never believe there is encryption that cannot be broken. Every weapon will eventually breed a counter weapon.

For financial transactions, though, the encryption doesn't have to stay unbroken forever -- just until I'm done with the money/account.

I bought my 14k HS and my 18k college class ring when gold spiked above $400. I think I'll keep them though.

I was really gun-ho at first with Bitcoin. I even tried to buy a Bitcoin card on Amazon for $15 but the order was cancelled after the vendor never filled it. That was kind of a harbinger as to how things would go. The more I looked at Bitcoin the more it looked like a 12 year Rottweiler gumming his dog food.

There's a joke to be made here, but I'd probably get in trouble for it...

It depends on how long the moderators took to see your joke. Is there a "statue" of limitations on board rules?
