"So FB users could use it to buy things."

I believe Facebook is looking beyond its users.

I believe you mistook my quoted statement as referencing Facebook (planning to launch Libra) when, in fact, I was referring to AT&T (and their acceptance of payments in BitCoin).

Yes, I thought you were referencing Libra. Sorry.
I think the whole cryptocurrency thing is getting pretty nutty.

I think BitCoin is in for a serious run. All the big banks and investors are scooping up BitCoins BIGTIME.

Where do you see evidence of that?

Random article. There are lots of them.

The article hardly claims that "all" the big banks and investors are scooping up BitCoin. In fact, it only speaks to three completed "Big Time" trades, and a fourth in process right now.

That is most certainly not supportive of the statement you made.

In all likelihood, these are deep pocket speculators, hoping to influence the trajectory of BitCoin long enough to bail out with a king's ransom, while leaving others holding the bag.

I just linked a single random article out of many. I’m not an expert, just a guess. We’ll all know for certain soon enough.

So, who's going to post the annotated chart showing the twelve-hour tumble from $13800+ to $10400-? Especially that one ten-minute stretch where it dropped by $1800?

You can see a 10% drop in one minute. Bticoin can be leveraged and traded with algorithms. Anyone familiar with stock options knows all about volatility. These moves prevent short traders from having a chance to jump in. The bigger picture still shows short term short trade opportunities.

I thought about doing the same thing only with the numbered Plate Block Stamps. Stamp collecting is on the rise, so I figured the best investment would be those four stamps from the bottom of the sheet with the number on it. If worst comes to worst, I can always put them on my emailed letters.

Hopefully for the Bitcoin advocates the tulips will stay in bloom. I will stick with gold and silver. Slow and steady always wins in the end.
