Again, which Ptolemy and how can I tell?

    I bought this out of a batch of loose ancients at a local coin show several years ago. I think it is Ptolemy II or III, but I cannot tell for sure. Any help is much appreciated IMG_7537.JPG IMG_7541.JPG .

    Heh... twenty minutes ago in another thread I typed instructions on how to attribute Ptolemaic bronzes so I'll paste a link to that post here :D.

    Your coin has significant corrosion though so it may not be possible to accurately nail it down. Posting the size and weight is necessary for these coins.
