Ya know, I noticed that after I posted the photogs. Probably some anomaly regarding my picture taking, but I will have a second look at the subject. :)

I need to finish photographing my tokens and chips. I'm very close but I have about 50 or so that need new holders, they're in those stapled flips and I have nothing to put them in. In the mean time, here are a few random tokens from my collection:

This French medal (discussed in a recent thread) is coming to my Eclectic Box collection soon.

It is a special gilt bronze specimen striking of a Napoleon Bonaparte memorial medal by Antoine Bovy, commemorating Napoleon's Paris funeral on December 15, 1840. The reverse shows his original tomb on the island of St. Helena, where he died in exile in 1821.

The medal was struck in 1840. That "Bramsen-1990" on the label is the variety number, not the year it was issued.

This has a PCGS population of 1/0, meaning it is the only example graded.

@Circus- I got your package with the goodies for the July giveaway. Thanks! Someone will have fun with that stuff. I really like the Ike dollar cutout, too, and owe you for that one. As mentioned, I'll eventually be reselling it, but I think it's cool and wanted to own it for the short term. It's unusual to see a nice modern love token like that.

For the rest of y'all, here is the Ike cutout I just got from him. It was photographed against a green background, which kind of makes it look like the cutout portions have some kind of translucent green plastic filling them (which would have been really cool looking), but in fact it's just open space there, like with other cutout coins.) It is also brighter and shinier in person. Cool piece. Anybody know a "Sherri"?

Stay tuned for the rest of what he shipped me. That stuff will be his contribution to the July giveaway prize loot. :)
