Well if you are buying physical at $790 spot you are paying at least $850 for an ounce. Selling at $880 spot you would be lucky to get the $850 back. Im not saying its not a good buy at $790 as I would agree it cant fall much from that point, just that you don't have any profit in platinum until it goes up at least $100-$150.

I love Gold. Still wouldn't expect to see $1900 again for at least a couple decades

    Today

    Gold + $15.25
    Silver - $0.05
    Platinum - $13.47
    Palladium - $37.27

Gold about to go back over Palladium. Im just wondering can Gold stay above $1300 this time, which I doubt.

No way Jose! The 1/4 ounce Proof I bought costs me $285 and change, I bought it in a pebay auction. Some would say I won it but I don't talk like that when I pay hard earned money for it. :D

Platinum and palladium are both way up on the overnight trading. The volatility on these 2 is just nuts.

Yeah, unfortunately I think you're right and since I probably only have 2 to 3 more decades of life left in me, it's a bit of a gamble for me. :D

The only thing I know for sure is Gold will always beat silver. Been saying it since my first day on this board over 10 years ago. Haven't been wrong yet. Despite all the years of never ending silver pumping all it does is lose. I started here the GSR was in the 30s and all everyone was posting was silver silver silver buy silver get silver silver silver silver. The GSR is near 90 now. Beyond that I don't know anything for sure, been expecting platinum to roar back above Gold for years. Been expecting it so long, ready to just forget platinum once and for all. I have been nothing but wrong with platinum kind of like the silver side is always wrong. I'm sticking with the only other beautiful metal Gold. Silver and palladium are ugly.

Gold is always going to be on top of Silver thats a gimmie, but for the more
Financially challenged Silver allows much more access, i have allot of 10 OZ
Silver bars most are designer and have a value well above the bullion price
But they are more affordable so somewhat safe :)
