just Over priced. You can get them for a bit over $6 each for 20 if you want from APMEX https://www.apmex.com/product/5293/90-silver-walking-liberty-halves-10-20-coin-roll-avg-circ
You can buy them for about $6-$7.50 each at any coin shop. Just an ad but it's a gimmick. Yes they are half Dollars. Yes they are 90% silver. Yes they are lost but only because they have been pulled from circulation and most people under 30 have never heard or seen them. Since they can sell them for whatever price they want, in this case $44.95, they can put them on sale and still make a killing. I would gladly buy them for $5.00 and sell them for $15.49. I'll triple my money. And yes, as the ad says, the lost coins have been melted down for the silver content and they are selling survivors. Go to your local coin shop and ask for junk Walking Half Dollars. You can get them for less than half that amount easily. Don't be fooled by ads like this.
Not a good coin at all, in my opinion. I know I'm in the minority here, but I cannot stand the design of the Morgan dollar. Obverse or reverse - both ugly. Way over-hyped.
If you want 90% silver, for just silver content,I always purchase 1964 Kennedy's, usually nice full weight coin. Just have to watch silver prices and shop around . a good price is about$6.00, $6.50.
You should be able to buy Kennedy's, Franklin's and Walkers for the same price if buying for the silver content. Most dealers sell mixed lots for the same price as junk silver coins.
