Got these two little guys today for melt ($255 for both). Nothing special..just a 2018 proof and a 2014 common. Walked out the LCS and ran into a regular trying to sell them. I took them after he said what he wanted. I’ll buy them at melt all day long if I can!
I hope that the owner of the B&M didn't see the transaction going on outside. Some of them can get pretty nasty when they lose business in this way. Chris
Yeah, you have to figure that the shop owner has cameras in the parking lot. I guess he will find out next time he goes in Especially if the guy was actually a regular seller....that could be bad.
Not to worry gents...he already was in earlier and owner offered less than melt so he walked out.. he came back to buy some silver he said. So in reality he walked in with more money to spend at the shop than he had before. Win win for everyone.
It’s a party foul no matter your justification. You need the stores blessing to do that in the parking lot.
Role your eyes all you want, I own a dispensary, you don’t even want talk about business in my parking lot. If you are lucky we will tell you just to not come back.
Where I come from ethics and curtesy matter more than law, I understand others don’t share these values. If I was out of town at a coin shop I never intended to come back to, who knows?...if I did do it I would at least drive down the road to do the exchange.
Small town, lived here my whole life, no ones had to be told twice....I use to be a lot different 15 years ago.
For future reference. Here in CO. This type of transaction is illegal. You can't do it in the parking lot. You may be able to do it down the road. But they can still have recourse even if you talked about it within the place of business. It is frowned upon, because you are potentially taking away from the established business.
