Latest find !! Love to hear y'alls opinion on my new Kennedy. Looks to me like a double eye or eye and brow. I found another one also , I swear it looks like he is winking at me. But my wife saying i'm crazy and it looks like a scratch on the surface. Lol. Idk...... I placed a photo of another Kennedy (for comparisons) of what I think a regular eye and brow is supposed to look like. Minus wear and tear of course. Thanks to All

Can you show photos of the light from the left at 45 degrees, and also from the right at 45 degrees. Your photo with the light from directly above goes right to the sensor and doesn't show any depth of anything. I see a lot of bag/drag marks from the lower jaw, up the cheek and further up, so I'd initially guess it's just damage. That is a fall off area where coins "snag" in a sense and create damage by pushing the metal, even making it "raised" as it slides to the left. IMHO Also, what year/mm is it - can't see the entire coin. There might be reference to a double eye. For instance some 2005 P has this "ridge" around the front of the cheeks going to the eye. Some 2006 P seem to have some bugged up eyes. So knowing the year/mm is always important. But directly in front of the eye (top left) looks promising.

It does look doubled to me, but not from a doubled die. It looks like MDD (Machine Damage Doubling). Larry Nienaber

Now that is awesome! ! and I just thought I was excited when I stumbled upon my 1973 Kennedy. I would love to find an error coin like yours. Great find.
So just out of mere curiosity does anyone have an opinion on the reverse? To be more specific "E PLURIBUS UNUM" I have a few coins that are very similar in the same area. Is that normal or ........ Doesn't seem like it is the "standard" lol
