This news is always helpful to know but not all of us have received this offer.

I did get the 8% ebay bucks but I ended up not using it because I did not see anything that I wanted to buy at that time.

I too did not find any coin or bullion to get the bucks on. Almost always purchase something gold or silver from APMEX (especially like gold when marked $6.99 above spot) but now that I will be charged 8% sales tax via them, thanks NY, I will have to pass until Ebay has a 15% off day.
I did take advantage of it though. Always have something for daily life/use on my list for when the offer does arrive. Got me the Tom Petty American Treasure box set, some cook books, 100 40mm air tites, a new shower head from daily deals section, hanes boxers from the outlet site, an exercise bike (badly needed), an air fryer and best of all, 80 rolls of strikes (TP) :woot:. All purchased for less then I could buy elsewhere and no sales tax. I likey....save the 8% tax AND get 8% for future bullion purchase.

    Hi Everyone,

There’s a new eBay bucks offer ending tomorrow. What’s the a good method for finding gold coins not classified as bullion but most would probably consider the coins bullion? In the past I’ve had luck in the world coins category. But the selection is limited or stays mostly the same. I would appreciate any tips!! Thanks!!

Basically, anything that is not listed in the bullion category. World coins are good. What I do is just search for a specific type, such as "$20 gold", "$5 Gold", "Quarter Eagle" or whatever other type you are looking at.

Another way to do it is to just search the entire category. Ebay has a specific category for Pre-1933 US gold coins:

Old US gold coins. APMEX often does deals at the exact same time as eBay bucks promotions to get final prices very close to spot.
