Hi all, I have a stupid desire to buy a 10oz gold bar, and am looking for something that has been cast/poured instead of pressed. From my initial research, it looks like Johnson Matthey, RMC, and Engelhard used to produce them, but no longer (only pressed bars now). Does anybody know of another established producer of 10oz cast bars? I don't mind paying a small premium for cast vs. pressed, but would rather not have to resort to buying a discontinued bar for a large premium.
I would suggest you tread lightly in this arena, i would only buy from reputable Dealers like APMEX, there 10 OZ Gold bars start out in the $13,000 range for Generic and up from there for designer.
