Hello all, seen a few ads in newspapers lately, the sun and daily mail, selling 2019 bullions at good price, in comparison with gold content, anyone dealt with them before? have 1 advert to hand from mail, any advice been great before go ahead with purchase. Cheers CB65
- Its .916 Fineness. Most bullion is .999 - "Send no money now" -Since I am unsure, I will ask you, is the "Buckingham Collection" a government supported program? Or is this private?
I just looked up the Buckingham Collection. They have a legitimate-looking website, but I do find it suspicious that I can't find any additional information on them - no reviews, no other websites that list them, etc. It could just be it's a new dealer, but a lot of times I find those types of advertisements very suspicious, like "Send No Money Now" and "Call Us Today To Secure Your Coin." I know I saw something from a different company in an ad like this. It was some sort of silver bullion coin at a good price. Since it was only $12, I decided to buy it and see. It's been about a month. It's not here yet.
yikes, and after 30 days most credit cards won't give you your money back in case of fraud. They require within 30 days complaint. So you may want to tell your CC something is suspicious as you follow up on the purchase.
I just used a prepaid card, since I was suspicious about it. I mostly wanted to see whether I'd get it or not
A one ounce silver round under spot, which is another reason I thought for sure it was a scam. I mostly just wanted to see what would happen
WOPA+; When I looked it up, it seemed like a real company. I had never bought anything from them before, but they looked legitimate to some extent (except for the ad).
gone for it, £234.99 bullion, 5-7 days delivery.. checked out facebook page, customers received bullions so worth a go. CB65
Possibly trying to pump up a suspicious bullion source by showing confidence in him and announcing he purchased a sizeable amount. That was my first thought after reading through the thread.
To be honest, I'm suspicious if this guys actually works for this company, making a false advertising claim
I ordered 1 bullion coin, gunna try the other place to, will report back with results in due course. CB65
For Bullion, I like the following businesses(each for my own reasons): JM Bullion Provident Metals Scottsdale Mint Apmex MCM Pinehurst Coins If you buy bullion from any of these businesses, I think you're safe.
I think JM is the best, have ordered from most and have had no issues But shipping time is an issue for MCM, i know that first hand.
