Saturnalia draweth nigh. Anybody else want in on this? There are a few days left. Don't forget the regular December giveaway, too, if you haven't entered that yet. That stuff ain't ancient, but hey, free silver is free silver, right?
With Saturnalia upon us, 'tis time to do the drawing. But before I fire up the random number generator, I would like to first add an extra free entry post for the person who sent my Secret Saturnalia gift. I notice he has one entry post here already, so if the random number generator lands on #42 (this post), he'll win, the same as if it lands on his actual entry post. This effectively doubles his chances in the drawing but still keeps things random and fair. Ready? I'm off to random.org now, to find our winning number. Stand by! Oh, BTW, I couldn't resist opening the @Ken Dorney mailer to have a peek at the coin in hand before I give it away. I daresay it looks a bit better in person. The surfaces are nicer than I expected. Not that you'll be able to tell that from my cellphone photography. You'll just have to see it in hand. One of you will, soon.
And the oracle at random.org has spoken! Not without some stuttering, as it happens. The first numbers drawn were 17, 1, and then 41, all of which landed on posts by me. But then on the fourth click it drew #30 ... which means @Johnnie Black has won! PM on the way to him, and congratulations. Happy Saturnalia, all!
Lament not if you missed out on this one. As of this post, it's not too late to enter my regular December giveaway.
Thanks for the give away @lordmarcovan ! I’m excited to read the book and add the coin to my collection. I never win anything! Time to buy a lottery ticket.
