1977 d dime error?

    The dime on the right is oblong. Can't really see it in pictures

    That one you're talking about that looks oblong. Has been hit all around the coin. It's called spooned job.
    But what do you think whats wrong with the 64?
     
  4. So it looks like an off-center strike, but not clipped. Is that a spoon-job ? Sorry now I see what you meant. It's an attempt at forging an error ?

    Just a normal silver dime

    The 1972 is damaged.

    I understand now why he put it up there to show us the difference between them. But yes it's just damaged.
