My jaw hit the ground on this city view.... WOW! Is this a medal or a coin ? Which country is it from ? Regensburg/Bavaria/Germany ? Amazing city view. if this is a coin it could be worth a fortune. looks like a Thaler denomination, I am not seeing yours there ???
looked threw my 17th, 18th, and 19th century Krause world coin catalogs and did not see 1 like it. Do you know what year it was made ? that might help.
it appears to be a modern medal 1974. Ebay link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Medaille-s...=item285b904af2:g:p7MAAOSwl5VbBssI:rk:10:pf:0
In fact, I've researched and could find only one like this mine, on this site: https://www.vcoins.com/de/stores/nu...r_medal_1974__silver_45mm/691608/Default.aspx I bought it because this medal (or coin, i don't know) is very beautiful, and I only paid $30 for it. I don't know who made this medal and why, but she is very scarce and richly detailed. I saw that medal on sale in that site you provided, but the medal appears a fake (or a reproduction). The comparison shows two different medals (to me, at least).
That's not really very much, in the pic it's what's sitting in front of the box and there's a lot more in the box.
Took a year off to deal with my som senior year and send him off to college. Was very involved in his sports program. Still have quite a bit going on but nothing like last year. Hope you are well.
my new paper weight.... A-Mark 10 oz'er bar. Beautiful mirror reflections. my 8 Scottsdale 100 grams bars and 1 Vulture Peak Mines 100 gram bar. my little stack is growing again. sorry for the very crappy pics... affordable silver. I love it.
Went to Las Vegas Palace Station coin show today. got a few coins, but will wait until my friend Karen can take photos with her phone of the coins. I bought some silver to add to my stack. 1 RMC Republic Metals Corporation 5 ounces .999+ silver bar, 1 poured 5 ounce bar. (3)..2018 silver eagles. and 1... 2018 silver Panda... having fun stacking some silver...
Those A Mark 10 oz bars are nice. As fas as I know, A Mark is one of only a few publicly traded bullion companies, and listed on the NASDAQ.
