I bought my el-cheapo digital scale off amazon for ~$12 and a loupe for ~$5. Neither have failed me yet. I don't have a caliper nor could I see the need for one, at least with normal circulated coinage. It would have its uses in other aspects of collecting though. Depends on what you are trying to achieve.
You can get inexpensive calipers at Harbor Freight. They are good enough for measuring coin dimensions
I went to eBay and searched. I paid $39 a while back and got everything but the caliper, which I bought for $3.52. Do a Google or Bing search and you'll find many of them for sale.
I bought this scale a while back as it goes to 0.001 grams as many on CT will say it needs to go that accurate. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0731F3F2N/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have yet to use it though for anything though.
I can't comment on the quality, but 3 decimals with a standard weight for calibration should be perfect for a numismatist.
