But can you also allow yourself to be positively impacted? You may have much to share, but you also have much to learn, as all of us do... no?
I’m always positively impacted, and it’s not just from forums, but also books and online resources. But yes, definitely. I have a lot to learn, as displayed by the question about the 1901-S Quarter we were originally discussing in the OP.
You should've been here a few days ago. The rank hypocrisy was taken to an entirely new level in one of the most repulsive and disgusting displays of ridiculousness yet. You'd have loved it.
I mean. We can drop this or I can continue to be facetious and sarcastic too @BooksB4Coins up to you.
Didn't the same person have a problem with you not to long ago. Just clean up you joking a tad. I think your ok.
Son you have no idea whom you play with...! I be very careful.... you speak like a man over board screaming for more water! And again we have had others like yourself whom ended up being bounced or left as no one wanted anything to do with them....a word to the wise my friend. And I wrote nothing about a doubled die.
Who’s playing with who here? I mean I apologized and continued talking coins, yet @BooksB4Coins had to get another lick in so I just continued......
Seriously, kid; you cannot be this full of yourself! Guess what: not everything is about YOU, and in this case my post, the one clearly directed at Insider and only Insider, had absolutely nothing to do with you or this stupid little nothing you clearly haven't forgotten or let go of. You clearly cannot handle being called out, yet have the gall to suggest you'd be banned for taking other members to task? Puh-leez... Still, since you wish to bring it up, let's be honest here, shall we? The link is below for anyone wishing to read it, and while I did take issue with your ridiculous attack on Paddy, the greater issue taken was with how you hadn't a problem potentially misinforming someone here to learn as well as the fact you lamely tried to place your "contributions" on the same level as those here every day, month after month and year after year, helping the very people most choose to avoid. https://www.cointalk.com/threads/1998-p-dd-quarter-dollar.322698/ Keep pushing it, kid. You're accomplishing little other than turning regulars against you and isn't a wise move for someone in your position. This forum can benefit you a hell of a lot more than you can or will benefit it.
If at first these members don't get your facetiousness at first. Apologize and lets it slide. The apology means less if you continue kicking and pulling hair after an apology. I fault no one. Lets be all growsed up.
...And you said yourself in your post that had to be terminated because of your language..."In regards to the coin in the OP, I’m just a 22 year old, I obviously know nothing about numismatics anyway." Can you just stop being inflammatory, then you don't have to apologize.
Books, Larry You know we have had difference of opinions over the years. But all of us in a mature fashion moved on, it didn't mean we accepted defeat, it meant we had enough sense to just move on.....and that's what I plan do do here... The iggy button is a great invention! So 40 +/- years ago graduating from college there wasn't a post scrip on my diploma stating that they had taught me everything I needed to know in life. Those whom believe that they do well I pitty the fool! Knowledge is a powerful tool..... one should never discount learning no matter how trivial. I strive to learn something new every day and share what Ive learned with others......todays lesson is an old one you can lead a horse to water....but....ya can't make him drink. However you can ignore ,and walk away..... no use trying to educate someone whom knows it all. And yes that's a shame.....not our loss.
No that is not my coin. I just wanted to show that the mint marks are in the same position. And to get the thread back on the track, which is a lost cause.
That's what I first notice looking at your post that the mm does share the same position. From the shape of the medal there I say its a match.
I was really hoping that was your coin. I love the 1901-S Quarter. But it’s out of my specialty (Dimes)...... and I’d have to save for at least 6 months to obtain one in Good...... Sooooo.... Let’s get back on track. It’s in the right place, you’re right. Now my question is, is it just a weak strike? I’ve never seen such a weak mint mark.
That was very truthful. Not sure that will help much. I think alot of us will learn from your post. But unfortunately not the ones in your crosshairs. True and nicely said. I troll and hopefully learn. Have opinions and understand most post are not vebattem. We do and guess our best. I don't think this site was intended to be like a spouse correcting you for even the tiniest mistakes. It sox. Spelling and terms i understand. Members fight your own fights. If you have to make a comment. Please do. Then. STFU dont continue fighting others fight.
