What is your PM end game? Do you have a strategy? Do you consider it an investment? Are you a speculator? Are you a prepper (Kurt will give you a free Tin Hat
)? Bottom line, why are you buying PM's?

*I started off as an ill-informed investor and now I pretty much know I like to hoard this stuff. I could be doing worse things, but then again probably some better things with my money too. I guess if I can get unattached I could Start "dollar cost average selling" Ag and Au monthly.

I hear 5%-10% are numbers for that type of strategy.

It is my retirement. I treat it as cash that doesn't lose value to inflation. The stock market is way overbought, and I don't want to pay the commissions selling it.

It isn't a strategy for me. I just like seeing the stuff. My plan to to leave it all for my kids and grandkids to divvy up once I leave this party while I look down upon them giggling over their confusion.

I'm prepping for when @V. Kurt Bellman takes over the world, declares PMs worthless and tries to confiscate all the PMs, and send them in a rocketship to the sun to burn up.

Other than that they look pretty in coinage and I like collecting/hoarding them in small amounts.

    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

Precious metals are a little like tomatoes in August. You don't have enough until one day you have way too much.

Thanks for helping me promote local industry, @Bman33! There is an Alcoa Aluminum plant just down the rail line in Lancaster, PA, and they can use all the foil hat business they can get.

    Tariff free, too.

The aluminum plant makes tin for the tinfoil hats?

Yeah, tin foil hats aren't tin; they're aluminum, which makes people who need them even funnier.

And they can write their conspiracy theory with "chalk" on their "blackboard" while wearing that "tinfoil" hat.

What? You don't have blackboards any more? Or chalk?

They don't have "lead" pencils, either.

I actually have one of those. An early construction site style one. Real mercury thermometer, too. And roll film cameras with real roll film, too.
