Would still be cast not casted.

    Once.. In Old English ;)

The Oxford English Dictionary records casted as being used as the past tense of cast from the Middle English period to the sixteenth century. The latest citation showing its use is dated 1526.

Last citation of use 1526, next citation 2018. How old are you again? :)
