Hello all. I keep my coins in 2 by 2 flip cardboard coin collecting holders which are kept in an album with plastic pockets. Id love to hear how you keep your coins and what you think is the best way to keep coins.
It's a popular question here on the Ancients board and there have been many threads about it. Mat linked one of them. Here are a few more thread in which people show their preferred storage method. https://www.cointalk.com/threads/fa...-ancient-coin-collection.307107/#post-2929609 https://www.cointalk.com/threads/storage-case.314489/ https://www.cointalk.com/threads/question-about-whether-i-damage-my-ancients-if.305025/ https://www.cointalk.com/threads/what-coin-storage-methods-would-you-recommend.302700/ https://www.cointalk.com/threads/switching-to-slabs.301135/ I recently revamped my storage: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/tifs-2017-year-in-review-and-top-ten.307536/#post-2937455 That list is from searching the Ancients board for the word "storage" and those hits are from the last year or less. There are more threads if you go further back in time.
Good answers above. Search "storage" or possibly "store" at CT. I've been having fun with this technique recently: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/fantabulous-way-to-store-ancient-coin-collection.307107/
I do more or less the same thing. I keep the flips in plastic slide-holder pages that I keep in 3-ring binders, each binder with it's own theme, such as "Roman, A.D. 268-364."
