reasonable period of time: def. Period of time that supports the poster's argument.

"The gold-silver ratio goes up over any reasonable period of time [1920-1940, 1970-1990]."

"The gold-silver ratio goes down over any reasonable period of time [1940-1970, 1990-2010]."

Yeah brilliant to bring up a time period where the govt set the GSR.

The silver side says the govt had set the GSR at 16 but since it is now determined by market forces, the GSR is 82. Yet you all want to argue about which is superior. The game is over and you lost. Yeah I know I know its because the "manipulators" are cheating you. SMH.

I Started this thread 1 year ago in response to the constant nonsense posts about buying silver then swapping for gold and getting extra gold. As idiotic as this idea was it was always accepted as brilliant strategy or at least never called out for the nonsense that it is.

So here we are 1 year later. The GSR that was certain to fall has EXPLODED over the last year. I would say that none of us will ever see the GSR in the low 60s again in our lives. And that is at best a break even point for those who really went silver as they were claiming.

    Game over. Silver lost. Again.

Government controlling the GSR from 1990-2010? I thought by that time they'd privatized that function and turned it over to the Illuminati.

Ah, yes. And when you select an endpoint for your "reasonable period of time", you get to say "game over". You win! Yay!

GSR ticking back towards silver lately. Under 78:1 at the moment. Hardly a reason to celebrate.

Yes, but I did once show up at a meeting of the Council on Foreign Relations. I got my official "all-seeing eye" merit badge, too. You can get their podcasts here:

Well I know its been a while but you guys are mighty boring.

Anyways GSR was 68.93 at start of thread. Currently 79.12

Still waiting on all those brilliant gold for silver swaps to pay off like I said they wouldn't. Lol.

Lucky you guys are full of it and don't actually do the swaps you claim.

Kurt Bullman you can cry all you want, I had the guts to start the thread and I have been 100% right which was 100% certain to begin with. Most of you guys never take a solid position you just wait to see which way the wind blows and if spot falls of course you sold off before the drop and if spot goes up of course you loaded up.

The only position I have ever seen you take is guaranteeing bitcoin demise. Its currently worth over $7000 each. Nice call. Lol.

Fortunately, we still have the few and proud who are willing to take a solid position -- and trumpet it every time the wind blows in their direction, and vanish into the shadows when it doesn't.

Thanks Jason just make sure my medal doesn't have any silver in it.

    GSR = 79
GSR at start of thread 68.93

    Bitcoin now $8200.

Silver just keeps losing. What a surprise.

Yeah, along with his response to repeated inquiries. CT messaging must be losing his replies, as well.
