You don't have time. Stay busy saving the world and waiting for the power to be restored so you can see what you are doing. Leave eBay to me.
Here's a nice little lot I got for about 77 bucks. I haven't taken my own pics yet, the Carus is kind of a a turd, but the rest are pretty nice...the Gallerius is VERY nice.
On the sad side I am seeing people pay hundreds even a thousand for fakes!!! This is at over $1200 as I write this!
Picked up this almost fully-silvered, uncommon Constantine for around $12: Thessalonica mint, A.D. 319 RIC 59 Obv: CONSTAN-TINVS AVG Rev: VICTORIA AVGG NN - Victory advancing left with wreath and palm branch [dot]TS[dot]Γ[dot] in exergue 19 mm, 2.5 g.
Yes I agree, could be worth big dollars, the only one I could find in CNG archives......https://www.cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=64168
There are lots of them out there, they arent rare (i've owned a number of them in the past). Check the spelling or variations and you will get lots of hits. I dont think anyone knows truly what they are, but I have always suspected they were mounted in some way to, well, I dont know. Something.
Note the total of the marked prices are over 10x what you paid. The seller must have given up trying.
True, but those prices are vastly inflated. $77 for the lot seems like a more reasonable price. I'd say you got a bargain, not a steal.
