Never store your tokens on an exchange.... cold storage is the way to go.

How easy is that to do? IF I had any the first thing I would have done when it sky rocketed was pull them offline

I'm sure others have already posted about this, but if the OP actually did buy Bitcoins and it wasn't an April Fools joke...

Anyway, that first post is ironically prophetic.

I think it was a joke, in June 2013 BitCoin was $100. In April, I think it was less ($50?), and it was not considered with credibility as it was still be used as untraceable currency on the dark web for illegal transactions. (Drugs, prostitution?, etc.)

Hide them in a frozen vegetable box in your freezer - works for gold bars too :D

Maybe because it's the weekend, and people are more involved with spot prices during the week. I thought it was heading for 5,000.

Anything that volatile says that the investors cannot reach a consensus on value, or the value has no underlying basis other than speculation. If I had a profit I would take it and be thankful. If I had a loss I would eat it as a lesson learned and move on. But then truthfully I would never have been it anyway.

If Warren Buffet cannot understand it I for sure cannot understand it.
