1832 Bust Half, "R" missing on edge?

Garlicus Debt is dumb, cash is king.

Looking for opinions and information as to whether this is a known variety.

The coin is currently in a 2x2 and I currently don't plan to take it out for sentimental reasons. It has been in there for at least 40 years.

Anyways, it appears that the R in "or" in the edge lettering "fifty cents or half dollar" is missing. The "O" itself looks like it was put in as an afterthought, as it appears to be ON the reeding, unless that is how it was normally done. 1832 half missing R on edge.jpg 1832 half missing R on edge 3.jpg 1832 half missing R on edge 2.jpg

Is this the bottom of the "R"? Seems like it would be too close, compared to the other lettering.

Here is the coin, which I was trying to determine if the ribbon containing "E Pluribus Unum" is doubled. Any thoughts on that? 1832 half.jpg 1832 half rev.jpg

There is some where posted on CT a list of bust letter edge errors.
The error really doesn't add much value.
I have several that are missing letters or misplaced in the logo Fiffty cents or a half a dollar.
