He probably was a complete idiot:dead: If, I had that kinda $/ I would rather buy the 1621 Poland 100 Dukaten Sigismund III commerative issue for Polish victory in Battle of Chocim over Ottoman Turks:)

Doubtful, unless he discovered the Fountain of Youth.

    A Bluefin Tuna @489lbs= 400lbs dressed
1.76 Million=$4500@lb. He would have to charge double to make profit. I cannot see anyone paying $9000 for a fish dinner out:inpain: I feel bad paying $45.00 at Red Lobster for a lobster meal......even a Corona included.

Sushi is cheap. All it is is seasoned rice. It is what you put on it which makes it expensive.

I grew up in San Diego in the 50s and 60s. When the albacore tuna were running within 100 miles of shore my dad took me and brother out for some fun. All night to get to the fish was normal. We would catch 2 or 3 fish ea...average 35 lbs. ea. Only got to fish for a couple hours and then head back in. We cleaned them in the driveway...the fish lined up for 15 feet...my mom canned them on into the night while we slept. Good eating for the next 2 years. By the way...the day trip cost $20.00/ea. plus food...we were still on the silver standard in those days so $60+ was a bit of change. * fish weighed appx. 200 lbs. of cleaned fish...about $4 a pound...not cheap for those days at all but very good eating.

Yeah, sushi refers to the way the rice is prepared. Raw fish is sashimi.

Huh Even at my age I did not know that! I always thought sushi referred to those round raw fish delicacies , Hmmm maybe I better leave the farm more often. The heck with it I will stay here and eat extremely well done meat and taters!

I got my 1 1/2 oz canadian snow falcon or what ever it was, That is one darn nice looking coin Right There.:cigar: The only problem is finding an air tite for the size. Provident told me the best they can do is the Queen's beast 2 OZer. Bigger but if I can keep it from moving??????
So I just sit here Smoking my Nice big Cuban Cigars:cigar: Watching the Snow Falling and 11 degree temp. Waiting for the next time to go to the Barn!!!
BTW That 1 1/2 coin I bought with their $5.00 coupon so It was more like $14.00 an ounce . I LIKE THAT
