My Black Friday order finally arrived: a tube of random ASE's, 1/4 gold AGE, 1/10 gold maple leaf, and some of these beauties......my favorite coin so far. They come in a plastic tray and each coin is in individual capsules..... amazing

any recommendations on how to store the panda's? Do they make tubes in which you can keep each individual coin in the capsule and then put them in a tube? Those trays are quite cumbersome....thx

It amazes me that people pay so much over spot for Pandas to begin. And it blows my mind that people continue to pay those prices now that their less than one ounce each. I have never owned a Panda for those two reasons.

I just started stacking, I must say the pandas are by far the most beautiful coin I've come across. In addition, they get bought back for way more than ase's or maples. Spot price is 15.90, the latest pandas are getting bought back on provident for 19.74!!! Almost $4 above spot (which is the same as the black friday sales' price)!!! Not only that, if you look at previous years, you'll see pandas appreciate at an astronomical rate. For example, 2013/14's are going for almost $36 per coin. And then if you go back to 2008/09 pandas, they're in the $80-90 range. I'm just a Noob, so I'm not sure of the reasons, but bottom line is it's a beautiful coin and seems to retain it's value rather well, and then some.......

Pandas are very beautiful coins. I'm a newbie to coin collecting too, and I'll admit, my first silver purchase was partly determined based on the coins' aesthetic value. There was also a deal going on, so I thought it was a good purchase. I bought a stack of 20 1-oz Niue Silver African Lions. I started questioning whether it was the smartest buy, but if it's not, I'm OK with writing it off as a rookie mistake. I'm in it for the long-haul anyway.

The popularity of the coin has allot to do with the value of course, besides the
PM make up be it, Gold, Silver, Platinum or Palladium, though i do have one 30G
Panda i probably wont buy another, i like to stay main stream as much as possible
paying to much over spot for anything, may not be the smartest bet, if your using
It for investing purposes, collecting is ok :)

Just measure the capsule, then look for appropriate size, at a retailer.

It is a fun place and I have learned a lot during the little bit of time I have been here.
It just comes off as childish when you spew the ignore thing. Just ignore em and move on, I guess that's my take of things. My opinion, I shall move on good sir! Cheers!
