    Hi all,
Recently I was looking at Mint Errors listed on eBay..
I saw this one item that is clearly a damaged Dime and not a Mint Error :sour:

I usually don't do this but I sent a message to the seller to tell them that it is not an error o_O

And this was their response!... It's either true or they just said it so that I would leave them alone

The item is still available for Buy It Know

paddyman98 First off did they pull the ad.

Generally when some of the members here on CT crawl under my skin.
I enjoy going to eBay to blow off some steam.
I am polite I think so. I do the same I send a message to the poster.
Informing them that what they have is not what they are claiming it to be.

I wish some of my replies were that nice.
All I know as a seller when I informed eBay that it is a deceptive ad,
they do investigate and if they find out the ad is deceptive they pull it.
I have had a few ads no longer posted on eBay.

EBay has a deceptive ad policy and will not condone running deceptive ads.

Is that ads still up and running?
If it is, Let eBay know.
They don't know If a add is fraudulent unless someone informs them.
And if you're a seller on eBay with a good record they have a tendency to believe you a little more than someone who does not sell with them.

Believe me my man I've got into some heated conversations with sellers.
    And eBay.

Now it is. I had received the sellers response and it was still listed for at least 1 more week when I finally created this thread.. I wondered if the seller is a member here on CT and saw my thread :hilarious:

Like the other member said he's probably from community coin.
I don't know I usually let the seller know. At one seller to another he is giving honest sellers a bad reputation. And would appreciate it if he pull his add.

I don't know is just me I'd like give the seller the opportunity to correct his wrong.
And if it continues at least for a couple of days, that's when I reported to eBay..
But at least give the seller the opportunity to do the right thing,

and just like your seller he choose not to do the right thing.
After a couple of days I would report him.

Most of the raw coins sold on EBay are WAY overpriced. The slabbed stuff is okay but generally at the top of the market. I just buy commons if I buy, try to cherry pick nice circulated examples. That way when the coin comes and it’s junk I don’t have to go through all the hand wringing and return it. I can just smash it into a Bass at the Bass pro shop penny smasher!
