What type of labeling system do you guys use for your tubes of silver to identify all the different types and years of your coins? Not sure I want to use a permanent marker on the plastic tubes themselves, but that would certainly be the easiest.......
I personally don't have tubes or bullion but I would stick a price of scotch tape on it and write on the scotch tape. Thanks, Jacob
Nice little round white stickers on top of the tubes to write on. I use pencil so I can easily update the count.
I dont mark tape or post anything on my individual stacks, just use a numbering system and a notebook which has all the data in it simplicity at its finest
white or colored labels on the caps and rubes under tape. magic marker almost impossible to remove. l
I put little white stickers on top of my air-tite tubes. I’ll write “T-1” & then, on an Excel spreadsheet, I’ll type in the tube contents. That includes year, series, etc. I also put quantity of coins & use that to calculate melt price of coins. Easy to update on Excel!!
And an exclamation point..........if only to remind me that I've bought some more 'bullion'............Good Lord this stuff is gonna be tough to carry when the Zomby Apocalypse occurs......
What do you mean “will be”? Look around you. This subforum is absolutely CRAWLING with silver-eating zombies right NOW!!!
Most keyboards do not keep up with me and autocorrect always assumes it knows better than me. Ask Bill Gates what he was trying to insert into the conversation. I said labels under tape so they don't come off. I also said if you use magic marker it is hard to remove.
