I thought provident had some pretty good deals...picked up a tube of random year ASE's for 1.75 over spot, a tube of '16 panda's for 4 over spot, and a random year 1/4 oz AGE that was very reasonably priced.
'ya know, we're all FLATLINED If you like to follow PMs, the marketrealist.com site seems to have some basic articles all the time ==> http://marketrealist.com/2017/11/what-led-to-the-recent-rebound-in-precious-metals/
With PMs moving so little on average I guess they use a liberal definition of rebound. I use the term "bounce" from time to time for stocks that drop far then bounce up. PMs is like a rubber ball bouncing up and down all the time. If one really had the money they could day/week trade it and make some money if they held enough positions on it. And that is it .. depending upon your term of how long to hold/sell, if you hold enough a Rebound could be a small movement up. If you hold little of it a rebound needs to be much bigger.
Yeah, movement in PMs are, for the most part, relatively small. I have wondered if it could be possible to make small amounts each week by using credit spreads.
I thought Provident had good deals this year. I bought the 10 ounce bar at spot and $20 face junk silver at spot. Used the $5 coupon on 6 random ASEs that were already on sale for a final cost of $17.99 each. I was happy with the purchases.
I was seriously contemplating that myself over the weekend. But I don't have much, and it's so pretty looking.
Watch how much this chart gyrates intra-day but so often settles out very close to the same point at the 5:30 pm gap.
It's being crushed... against that $17 line, whether that involves crushing it against a floor or a ceiling.
Seriously, gold and silver have been, for the most part, in such tight ranges that I can’t see much point in buying or selling.
Perhaps I should have said This thread is stupid" Would you have edited out the dear moderators? Evidently.
