So, I had an extra 32mm air tite I was saving for my Palladium Eagle, and it doesn’t fit. I though the Palladium Eagle was going to be the same size as the platinum/gold eagle... guess not? There doesn’t seem to be a size that would work for direct fit, so it might need the foam ring version.

Kind of funny you mentioned that. I have the 32mm quadrum intercept 2x2 squares which work fine for gold and platinum eagles, and the palladium eagle was too thick to close it, but only on one side. That was what made it really obvious to me that it was thicker on one side. So basically I could get it to snap on two corners but the coin itself was too thick to get the other two corners to snap correctly.

hmm, didn't think about the thickness... I will try the foam ring air tite. the capsule will still stay closed even if it cant go all the way, so that might still work.

I'm pondering getting another to see if I can get one that is "capsule worthy" and then just leave this one in the plastic sleeve. It's a beautiful design.

Its very amazing the interest in these and I am getting tons of interest in these from my European and Middle Eastern clients. I am actually brokering a very big sale of these at the moment for a well known big buyer in Hamburg Germany, I cant really say who right now or how many but I will after this deal goes thru

Love that reverse -- jut not enough to pay the current premium. But it's certainly a looker!

We have to keep in mind that Palladium is the hardest metal being struck into a coin these days. Even solid nickel, long known (by especially the Canadians) as a tough monkey to coin, is significantly softer than palladium. They are very durable. It should be hard to find any with contact marks. Even iron is softer.

Pretty coin, I wish I could justify buying one...just too much downside potential for me.

These things are on fire, heading to $2,000+ for a normal 70.

Coinnews.net posted pictures and a video of their coin and it too has a little lopsided.
