Other than Amazon, and sometimes not even from them, I find that most eBay shoppers are among the fastest and most reliable that I deal with, day in and day out.
He want's the time frame shortened so he can be assured that he gets it faster or neg sellers. This isn't his first shipping time thread and in one of the others he basically said he expects anything he orders at his door in something like 4 days.
When we perfect the transporter beam, people will be complaining that it takes as long as 15 seconds to get something from 3000 miles away.
I understand that there maybe more to life then my order however, it is in fact My order,if he is willing to sell his products he must make the commitment to Not only deliver them on time but in good condition, but in this case i think a four day lead time is not realistic, i almost passed on this item but wouldnt even hesitated if i new i was going to get it today
Rusty your always good for a laugh. Nice new addition to the bar rescue hoard. How's this for logic? I finally ordered a nice Vintage MITUTOYO digital 6" caliper that came in the mail today, EARLY I got tired of converting US to metric verifying these coins. I've been building VW Aircooled motors for the last 20 years and could have used one then. I got pretty good and converting US to metrics back then as there were only about 20 different combinations.
Well that,s another thing we have in common..LOL, built several VW,S back in the day in the early 80.s it was all the rage in the high school, 1835,s and 2180,s were the ticket, did have a guy that had a 1776 that ran 11.80@117 smoking fast for the Time
So @baseball21 was right? I don't care if the seller advertises a 30 day shipping estimate; when deciding to bid or buy, it is your CHOICE to either accept his terms or to walk away. If you think they're too much or unreasonable, simply DON'T bid/buy, but you've absolutely no right to do decide what is "realistic" for someone else, and/or to punish them for not conforming to your little self-centered demands.
A simple solution, if you dont like something dont respond to the thread, or flip on the ignore switch, works for me maybe it will work for you to.
Books and other media can be shipped at an USPS highly reduced rate which may partly explain the delayed delivery time. Next time request they ship first class or priority and pay the extra delivery charge.
Excellent, sir! But let's take this perfectly reasonable suggestion one step further... "A simple solution: if you don't like something (like how an item is offered), don't respond (by bidding or agreeing to buy), or flip on the ignore switch (to stop tempting yourself), works for me maybe it will work for you.." Funny how this "works" both ways, isn't it?
Well this is suppose to be a place for learning, not for insults ! if that,s what you want to do why dont you take it some where else !!
The best thing i like about the "Ignore Feature" is you don,t have to read comments From Idiots...LOL, simply states you are ignoring content by this member, in my Opinion one of the best features on this site so you dont have to deal with the bottom dwellers.
I have been selling on the bay for years, coins, antiques, etc. and I always build 10% into my selling price for Ebay and Paypal. If it sells at that price fine, if not I wait for another day.
