weak strike?

    IMHO.. Not a weak strike. Looks like a well worn circulated Quarter.

    I think it's a bit more than just wear.

    Look at the rims, for example.

    The coin is circulated, of course, but I think
    it's been flattened somehow also. That's not
    a normal wear pattern, imo.

    Minor broad strike?

    IMHO - no error, normal wear.

    probably weak strike... look at the bg. what would normally be flat is all corrugated. :p

    Very cool. If its just wear its lowball. Could send to PCGS and a lowball collector would totally buy it. Does looks a little off than normal wear though.

    I had to dig my scale out of a box cause of remodeling but I managed to find it and the weight is 5.37 grams so it's light, that probably negates the possibility of weak strike. Who knows it probably is circulation wear but its just a weird wear pattern. Here is the edge. weak3.jpg weak4.jpg

    The edge just proves that
    the coin has been 'machined'
    and is not just 'worn'
